Paris - A Bloggers Dream. Lookbook.

In November I was lucky enough to spend my 21st birthday in a city I've absolutely fallen in love with... Paris.

The fashion in Paris is so varied, walking down the street there were so many styles, and now I understand why the city is known as the fashion capital. Not only that but every day I saw bloggers and photographers doing shoots in outfits from winter looks to bridal dresses. Hats off to them because it was freezing!

There was no better place to take a few selfies, so here are my looks from the time I was there and a quick look at what I got up to!

DAY ONE

We arrived in Paris at around 2pm after an hour flight from Toulouse. The first day basically consisted of walking round and seeing what we could find. We were lucky enough that our apartment was located in the heart of the city so we could walk to places such as Place Vendome, the Christmas markets, and Le Louvre!

DAY TWO

Day two was my birthday! We decided to head towards the Eiffel Tower before stopping off for lunch and cocktails and then heading to the Champs Elysee and taking a few hours out for shopping! A must...

That night we headed out for a gorgeous Italian at the restaurant, Villa Dondelli, just around the corner from where we were staying.

DAY THREE

The final day before we left was pretty much a fail.

We started off the day by making our way to the Musee d'Orsay, only to find a queue which would have taken us 2 hours to get to the front. We then decided to order fast pass tickets, only to be scammed and realise we had to travel all the way to the opposite side of Paris to pick them up...

So our next plan was to go on a boat tour on the River Seine.

We missed that.

So we pretty much gave up and headed back to the Christmas markets we stumbled upon on the first day we arrived. A few mulled wines, souvenirs and some melted cheese over beef later (don't even ask me why I thought that would be appetising) we heard something going on outside of the markets. So us being the nosy people we are, decided to go and investigate.

Wrong idea.

Turns out we ended up being locked out of the Christmas markets and found ourselves in the middle of a gilet jaune protest. If you don't know what I'm on about... Google it. Luckily we didn't witness any violence, but there were many people around us carrying weapons such as planks of wood, bats, and wearing protective masks. We finally came to our senses and decided it would be best if we left the area which is lucky because later that day we saw on the news that a car had been set alight and tear gas being thrown in the exact same street we were on...

We ended the night at a small tapas restaurant, Le P'tit Barcelone, where we were fed shots all night by the barman. Funny how I remember the shots over the food... Safe to say I don't remember much afterwards.
